In the third quarter of 2025, the sandbox-like games segment in Angola saw varied performances across different metrics such as downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Roblox experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $536 towards the beginning of September, before declining to $372 by the end of the month. Weekly downloads peaked at 4K in early September, while the number of active users generally hovered around 56K, showing a slight increase at the start of the quarter.

Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! from Mojang observed a steady revenue, peaking at $148 in late July. Downloads showed a moderate increase to 179 in the same period, with active users fluctuating slightly, peaking at 13K in early August.

IMVU: Fun 3D Avatar Chat Game had its weekly revenue peak at $73 mid-July, followed by a decline. Downloads remained consistent, around 600 in September, with active users steadily increasing to nearly 1.4K towards the end of the quarter.

ZEPETO: Avatar, Connect & Live saw fluctuating revenues, hitting a high of $74 by the end of September. Downloads were stable, around 400 weekly, and active users showed a gradual rise to over 2.2K during the quarter.

Craft Addons for MCPE, although starting slow with minimal downloads and revenue early in the quarter, saw a minor increase in downloads towards the end, with active users peaking at 22 in late August.
